As an Employment Coordinator, you'll empower clients to build confidence, develop skills, and connect with sustainable work opportunities.

This role plays a key part in helping people move toward independence while supporting MSD's commitment to inclusive employment across South Auckland.

Responsibilities

Partner with Case Managers to understand clients' skills, needs, and employment goals.

Coordinate training and supported work placements that build confidence and readiness.

Work with employers and providers to develop inclusive employment opportunities.

Support clients with CV preparation, interview coaching, and pre-employment checks.

Develop and deliver targeted interventions that lead to sustainable employment outcomes.

Collaborate with community, health, and training partners to deliver practical employment solutions.

Qualifications

Excellent communication, relationship management, and networking skills.

Experience in the health, disability, or employment / recruitment sectors.

Understanding of current labour market trends and challenges faced by people with disabilities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – able to identify patterns and develop solutions.

Highly organised and resilient, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

A full, valid New Zealand driver licence is required for travel across Tamaki Makaurau.
