As we continue this growth journey, we have an opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive Service Transition Engineer to join the team.
What You'll Be Doing
This role acts as a critical link between Service Design—where services are conceptualized and scoped—and Service Operation, where they are delivered and supported in live environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless transition of new or changed IT services into production, minimising disruption, and safeguarding business continuity.
Your key responsibilities will include planning and executing service transitions, managing change and release activities, and ensuring all service components are accurately documented and configured in the CMDB. You’ll collaborate closely with project and technical teams to assess transition risks, secure necessary approvals, and coordinate deployment efforts.
You’ll keep stakeholders informed throughout the transition lifecycle and lead post-implementation reviews to evaluate outcomes, capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in service delivery and change practices.
About You
To excel in this role, you’ll bring a positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent service. You have experience in IT change control processes, are skilled in technical documentation, and communicate clearly and effectively. Your customer service approach builds strong relationships, and you're passionate about improving technology solutions. With solid time management and organisational skills, you stay focused on goals and manage your workload effectively. You’re confident troubleshooting complex issues and identifying improvements.
