Our client are a market-leading company, specialising in Building Automation and Energy Management Systems currently expanding our operations in Auckland, New Zealand.
Candidates must be available for 12 months plus of on-the-job training in Melbourne, Australia.
Please note no sponsorship is available for this position and you must have full working rights in NZ & Australia.
What You'll Do
Get hands-on from day one with diagnostics, fault finding, and system maintenance
Learn how to troubleshoot HVAC and BMS systems in large commercial environments
Work with a close-knit team on-site—no sitting at a desk all day
Support clients, learn how buildings "think," and be trained in Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems
Be mentored by industry pros who will help shape your journey into a high-demand niche
About You
Recent graduate in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
OR some relevant technical industry experience where you have been exposed to troubleshooting, problem solving.
AND You're practical and hands-on—you love working in the field, solving real problems
You're curious about smart buildings, automation, and control systems
You thrive in fast-paced environments and like working on different projects
A great communicator who's just as comfortable with clients as with circuit boards
Hold a current Driver's License
Ready to travel interstate for training and occasional projects
Hold or willing to apply for a restricted electrical license within the first 6 month probation period

Successful candidates will be remunerated with a competitive base salary of $66,966 Per Annum plus 3% paid into your KiwiSaver scheme + Company Vehicle.
