Assistant Manager - Product Planning (Nehr)

Role & ResponsibilitiesLead the product roadmap to align with national priorities and NEHR strategyManage feature prioritisation and backlogOversee product development from concept to delivery, including functional and non-functional requirements gatheringAssess and validate proposed technical solutions and architecture for product areasCollaborate with internal teams (business, product, engineering, data governance, and security) to ensure alignment across the product lifecycleLead stakeholder engagement sessions with public and private licensees to gather feedback, validate requirements, and drive onboardingMaintain compliance with national data policies and HIB requirements, including consent, access control, and auditabilityContribute to product documentation such as business process models, funding justifications, technical specifications, user journeys, and interface definitionsMonitor adoption, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiativesRequirementsBachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field in business or healthcare management8 to 12 years of experience in product or solution management, with at least 3 years in large-scale IT systems or national platformsStrong background in product development within complex environments, especially involving interoperability, data exchange, or integration servicesProven ability to translate business needs into technical and functional specificationsKnowledge of healthcare IT and / or clinical standards including HL7v2, CDA, FHIR, SNOMED CT, and LOINC is preferredFamiliarity with national data governance policies and health information exchange (HIE) models is an advantageExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and multi-disciplinary team collaboration skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelinesRelevant certifications in Project Management (e.g. PMP, Agile) or ITIL Service Management will be an advantage
