Position Overview

As part of the Master Planning Office, the candidate will work in a team to align business and IT strategies, in order to develop and implement strategies to achieve organisational objectives and goals. The candidate will also support the portfolio management process to achieve a multi-year view of the demand and supply plan over time in order to smoothen the delivery and operations work, as well as to develop competency and capability build-up within Synapxe.

Role & Responsibilities

Provide central planning guidance taking into consideration overall resource envelop, budget envelop and tech Roadmap alignment to drive multi-year IT work-planning across public healthcare entities

Develop strategic plans and recommendations. Lead a wide variety of workstreams within strategic initiatives such Workforce Planning, Maintenance of Capability Framework, Cost Containment and Value capture

Collect, analyze and interpret complex data to drive business decisions and identify areas of improvement

Engage and communicate with key stakeholders of different levels. Design and implement facilitation plans to drive strategic change and transformation. Steer abstract dialogue into actionable themes and recommendations

Preparation of clear and concise presentation materials and reports for topics across various leadership forums

Provide secretariat support for key management fora, including driving agenda planning and synchronisation with other meeting fora, including Board and Ministry-level meetings

Requirements

At least 8 years of working experience in internal IT strategy / planning or related consulting role. Experience in healthcare industry will be an advantage

Experience in Strategic planning frameworks and methodologies. Financial modeling and forecasting is desirable

Strong organizational skills to plan and execute

Experience in leading design, implementation as well as management of IT programs and projects governance framework

Possess good verbal and written communication, analytical and conflict resolution skills with proven ability to simplify complex information into concise concepts

Strong stakeholder management skills

Strong ability to handle ambiguity and high work pressure
