About the role
Each Tangata will have individual care requirements, and you will support them with all elements of daily living.
No qualifications or prior experience are required, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure all Kaiawhina Support Workers are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need.
Training
Paid training!
Our Kaiawhina Skills Framework training takes place during your first two to four weeks of employment and is a mixture of practical training, online self-directed learning, and working with a buddy trainer.

Moving and handling
Medication management
Practical tasks including personal cares, compression therapy, meal preparation etc.

Full / restricted driver's license
Be available to work every second weekend
