What You'll Be Doing - Support Worker Role

As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and achieve personal goals.

You'll work from a care plan and provide both

practical

and

emotional

support, which may include :

Meal preparation

Personal cares (e.g., showering, toileting)

Administering medication

Home management (housework)

Supporting community outings and integration

You'll work alongside a wider team but make a meaningful difference every day—directly in the lives of the people you support.

Prior experience in healthcare or care-giving (essential)

Willingness to work with children

Experience with the use of hoists

full NZ driver\'s licence
