Each Tangata will have individual care requirements, and you will support them with all elements of daily living.

No qualifications or prior experience are required, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure all Kaiawhina I Support Workers are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need.

Whakangungu l Training

Paid training!

Our Kaiawhina Skills Framework training takes place during your first two – four weeks of employment and is a mixture of practical training, online self-directed learning, and working with a buddy trainer.

We cover the basics of support including :

Infection prevention control

Moving and handling

Medication management

Practical tasks including personal cares, compression therapy, meal preparation, etc.

We're currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team.

We offer flexible shift options between the hours of

7 : 00am and 8 : 00pm

Wednesday to Monday

, with

Tuesday as the rostered day off

Shifts may include : Morning shifts

: 7 : 00am – 12 : 00pm

Afternoon shifts

: 4 : 00pm – 8 : 00pm

Or a combination of both, depending on availability and operational needs.
