We're looking for a passionate and experienced

Sous Chef

to join our team at

Foodstuffs in Auckland

You'll play a key role in preparing and presenting high-quality meals, supervising kitchen operations, and supporting menu development.

This is your chance to lead with creativity and precision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.

Prepare, cook, and present meals to a high standard, ensuring portion control and quality.

Manage stock ordering, receiving, rotation, and storage to minimise waste.

Maintain hygiene and food safety standards across all kitchen areas.

Support menu planning and catering for events, including special dietary and cultural needs.

Hold an NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery (or equivalent).

Previous experience in a similar role, including staff supervision.

A team player with strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.

Physically fit, reliable, and committed to high standards of hygiene and safety.

Able to pass a police clearance and pre-employment checks.
