We are seeking a reliable and proactive Admin Support person to join our team at Wairarapa Mill.
About the Role
You'll provide essential administrative support to the General Manager and staff, helping keep our operations running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include :
General administration, document scanning, and data entry
Maintaining spreadsheets and filing systems
Coordinating room bookings and updating notice boards
Preparing meeting minutes and supporting on / offsite functions
Managing mail, couriers, and front counter enquiries
Answering calls, taking messages, and redirecting as needed
Organising medical schedules, as required for monthly hearing tests and annual flu injections
Drafting letters and developing desk files / processes
Translating for our Japanese employees
You'll ensure all admin activities are completed efficiently and in line with company policies.
Assisting with other administrative roles around the site, as required.
About You
Previous admin or office support experience
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confident with Microsoft Office and document management
Friendly, professional, and able to multitask
Japanese / English translation skills are a plus
