About The Mahi (Role)
Are you a proactive, organised team player who thrives on keeping things running efficiently?
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Service Administrator to join our nationwide Service Administration team.
This is a permanent, full-time position (Monday to Friday) based in Lower Hutt or New Plymouth.
You will be expected to work on-site in the clinic, with the opportunity to work one day from home per week after successfully completing three months in the role.
As a key part of TBI Health's operations, you will provide essential administrative and operational support across our services.
Key tasks
Coordinating and scheduling appointments for new and existing clients
Sending registration, consent, and outcome measure forms
Completing risk assessment forms for community visits
Booking GP medical certificates
Following up with ACC and other funders on queries or outstanding tasks
Responding to inquiries from clients and referrers quickly and accurately
Reviewing and completing invoicing tasks
About You
You will be a motivated and enthusiastic administrator who is organised and keeps things running smoothly.
This role would suit someone looking to take the next step in their health administration career and develop their skills within a supportive and dynamic organisation.
Skills and Experiences
A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to getting things done
Excellent communication skills, both with colleagues and clients
Empathy and understanding when supporting clients
A collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Strong organisational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Previous experience working in a healthcare environment in an administrative capacity (beneficial)
Experience with Gensolve or ACC contracts / processes (an advantage)
A genuine interest in rehabilitation and helping people achieve their goals
