EY Parthenon - Manager - Infrastructure Advisory
EY Parthenon is seeking a commercially minded Manager to join our Infrastructure Advisory team. The role is based in Auckland (Tāmaki Makaurau) or Wellington (Te Whanganui-a-Tara) on a full-time flexible basis and involves financial modelling and advisory work across infrastructure projects in New Zealand.

This is a hybrid position based in Auckland or Wellington.
Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities
- Provide trusted financial, commercial and strategic advice to clients in consultation with senior staff and partners
- Plan and build financial models that are transparent, robust, flexible and easy to operate
- Use and review models to improve model integrity and provide analytical insights
- Work in a high-performing team to help Government and industry clients navigate all stages of the infrastructure lifecycle, from strategy and business case development through to transactions advice
- Develop clear, well written and easy to understand reports and presentations
- Manage and be accountable for internal budgets and administration and ensure quality and risk management protocols are followed
- Assist in identifying opportunities to grow our business, including building relationships in the market and lead and / or support proposals and pitches
- Manage, mentor and provide counselling to our junior team members

Strong MS Excel and analytical skills, attention to detail and a track record of undertaking insightful quantitative analysisProfessional client facing experience within a relevant role or sector (e.g., advisory firms, banking, infrastructure, private sector or Government)Willingness to apply skills across multiple sectors and disciplinesGood written and verbal communication skills, ability to think strategically when problem solvingAbility to lead and manage multiple projects / people concurrently, and effectively prioritise competing demandsWillingness to train and grow more junior team membersCommitment to a strong positive team culture and enthusiasm for working in a flexible and diverse team environmentMinimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years post-graduate experience in a relevant role or sectorIdeally, you’ll also have the following but not required : a passion for working on large infrastructure projects; integrity and professionalism; willingness to travel domestically; experience with Power BI, Power Query and Alteryx; and progress towards CA / CFA or equivalent qualifications.
