EY Parthenon - Manager - Infrastructure Advisory

EY Parthenon is seeking a commercially minded Manager to join our Infrastructure Advisory team. The role is based in Auckland (Tāmaki Makaurau) or Wellington (Te Whanganui-a-Tara) on a full-time flexible basis and involves financial modelling and advisory work across infrastructure projects in New Zealand.

This is a hybrid position based in Auckland or Wellington.

Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities

• Provide trusted financial, commercial and strategic advice to clients in consultation with senior staff and partners
• Plan and build financial models that are transparent, robust, flexible and easy to operate
• Use and review models to improve model integrity and provide analytical insights
• Work in a high-performing team to help Government and industry clients navigate all stages of the infrastructure lifecycle, from strategy and business case development through to transactions advice
• Develop clear, well written and easy to understand reports and presentations
• Manage and be accountable for internal budgets and administration and ensure quality and risk management protocols are followed
• Assist in identifying opportunities to grow our business, including building relationships in the market and lead and / or support proposals and pitches
• Manage, mentor and provide counselling to our junior team members

Ngā Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success

Ideally, you’ll also have the following but not required : a passion for working on large infrastructure projects; integrity and professionalism; willingness to travel domestically; experience with Power BI, Power Query and Alteryx; and progress towards CA / CFA or equivalent qualifications.
