Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.With your contribution and my contribution, together we will thrive.Hei Oranga Iwi | The opportunityAs our Senior Manager you'll work with many of the world's largest organisations, fastest-growing companies and private equity firms on some of the most complex deals in both the Oceania and global market, across a broad variety of industries.Manage and participate in SPA advisory engagementsfor acquisitions or disposals by private equity investors, funds, or strategic corporate clients.
This includes working closely with clients, their bankers, and legal advisers, and performing tasks such as cash, debt, and working capital analysis, pricing schedule preparation, and financial reviews of the SPA and Completion Accounts.Advise clients on transaction mechanisms and financial analysisby providing insights on the most suitable purchase price mechanisms, analysing financial results through diligence findings and interviews, and supporting negotiations with clients to agree on detailed and compelling outputs.Build and maintain relationshipswith internal contacts and external clients to develop a portfolio of high-value projects, and collaborate with other EY service teams to deliver an integrated approach to clients.This role is based in our Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland) office.

We're interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics, and be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, CAANZ, or an international equivalent.
Have at least 5 years of experience in a professional services or chartered accounting environment, or in a financial performance and analysis or mergers & acquisitions role at a corporate organisation.Demonstrated ability to quickly develop, build, and manage relationships with multiple clients and teams, both external and internal.
Experience working with senior stakeholders on multiple engagements in a Transaction Diligence role or mergers and acquisitions environment.A keen interest in understanding businesses, transactions, and deal value drivers.
