Community Support Worker - Whakatane, Edgecumbe, Kawerau

We are looking for dynamic, energetic, and conscientious individuals that can support our Service Users living with complex injuries / disabilities within their own homes.

The rewarding role of a Community Support Worker includes (but not limited to) :

• Assisting Service Users with personal cares, home help, shopping assistance, and meal preparations
• Supporting exercise programmes
• Moving and handling using hoists and manual transfers
• Assisting Service Users to access the community

Days of Work : As this is community-based work, rotating rosters would be involved including am, pm and weekend work. Your preferred hours of work can be discussed during the recruitment process.

Pay Band : $24.13 - $30.03 p er hour (this is based on the Pay Equity Settlement by the Ministry of Health – hourly pay rates based on equivalency of Healthcare Qualifications assessed under Pay Equity)

Job Location - Whakatane, Edgecumbe , Kawerau

Employment Type : Part-Time (Up to 29 Hours) or Casual
