We are seeking a Kaituitui Tuarā Taonga | Trust Coordinator based in Rotorua.

As a Trust Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, fostering seamless collaboration and delivering exceptional service. The Trust Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Trust team in the Rotorua office to manage a portfolio of trusts.

The main responsibilities of this role will include :

  • Administration of trusts within a defined portfolio
  • Collaboration with team members and other key stakeholders in preparation for owner and trustee meetings, hui and Māori land court hearings
  • Creation of meeting materials, including meeting invitations, presentations and reports, and provision of supporting documentation
  • Attendance at meetings (where required), assisting with room set-up and taking of meeting minutes
  • Responding to enquiries from customers and other stakeholders
  • Updating core administration systems in accordance with our processes
  • Contribute to the preparation of Māori Land Court applications
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a customer service or administration role within a medium to large organisation
  • A genuine care for customers, with exceptional customer service skills
  • Resilience, ability to be flexible and someone who can think on their feet
  • A friendly and approachable nature.
  • An ability to build relationships both internally and externally through open and clear communication, both verbal and written
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience or an understanding of the rural sector would be beneficial.
  • Pae Tahi- Te Whakahua | A desire and ability to practise correct pronunciation of Te Reo Māori (essential).

    Pae Tahi- Nō Ia Rā | An understanding and living of Tikanga Māori on a day-to-day level, for example, Mihimihi - introducing oneself appropriately, whakawhanaunga - being able to make connections (essential)

    Eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential.
