We’re looking for a proactive and safety‑focused Compliance & Safety Specialist to join our National Transport team on the night shift in Auckland.

Shift hours : Monday – Friday, 6 : 00pm – 2 : 30am.

About the Role

As part of the National Transport team, you’ll be the go-to person for monitoring linehaul movements, managing compliance risks, and supporting driver and branch teams to operate safely and efficiently overnight. Your focus will be on keeping people, vehicles, and customers safe—reporting incidents, addressing compliance breaches, and communicating key issues promptly. You’ll also support national compliance and telematics programs, analyse data, and assist with projects that improve safety and service outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitating proactive responses to service delays.
• Raising transport safety issues across the network.
• Highlighting compliance risks to stakeholders.
• Building strong relationships with operators and branch contacts.
• Providing ad‑hoc project support.
• Communicating proactively with operations during delays.
• Maintaining accurate data in spreadsheets and databases.
