Senior Customs Broker

We’re representing a well-established international freight forwarder with a strong reputation for quality service and long-standing client relationships. Their New Zealand team, based near Auckland Airport, is close-knit, collaborative, and led by a manager who genuinely values trust, flexibility, and mutual respect.

They’re now looking for a seasoned Customs Broker to join their stable team of ten. You’ll be part of an experienced group that takes pride in doing things properly and supports one another to deliver excellent results.

The Opportunity

You’ll take ownership of all aspects of customs and MPI clearances for both air and sea freight, ensuring accuracy and timeliness through CargoWise. You’ll also assist with arranging cartage, so the role suits someone who enjoys variety and is happy to lend a hand across the wider operations team when needed.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven customs brokerage experience, including complex entries and MPI processes
• Sound working knowledge of CargoWise (including eTrays)
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing quality work
• A calm, practical attitude and willingness to step in wherever needed
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
