We’re looking for a Manager - Compliance and Conduct to support the Compliance and Conduct Lead with the implementation and embedment of compliance and conduct risk programmes across SkyCity. This role plays a key part in raising awareness and capability around compliance and conduct risk, working closely with teams across the business and the wider Risk Management team. You’ll help manage compliance incidents and issues and ensure timely escalation and reporting of material risks.

You’ll provide independent, pragmatic advice and constructive challenge to help the business understand and manage risks in both day‑to‑day operations and change initiatives (including strategic and regulatory projects), ensuring risks are well managed and controls are robust and effective.

About You

You’re a critical thinker with a curious mindset and a strong sense of personal accountability, and you take pride in consistently delivering high‑quality work at pace. You’re confident and capable of challenging constructively, even outside your area of expertise, and you thrive in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. You’re well‑organised, detail‑oriented, and bring sound judgement to everything you do.

You bring strong communication and relationship management skills, along with a solid foundation in Risk, Compliance or Legal, ideally with at least five years’ experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field is preferred, though not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and embed compliance and conduct risk programmes across SkyCity.
  • Raise awareness and capability around compliance and conduct risk throughout the organisation.
  • Manage compliance incidents and issues, ensuring timely escalation and reporting of material risks.
  • Provide independent, pragmatic advice and constructive challenge to support the business’s risk management.
  • Ensure controls are robust and effective across strategic and regulatory projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience in Risk, Compliance or Legal.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to work in fast‑paced environments and manage shifting priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field preferred.
