Are you a strategic, creative and results-driven marcomms leader? Tātaki Auckland Unlimited is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and deliver innovative strategies for Auckland’s most exciting events and experiences with a focus on the city centre.
TAU is a council-controlled organisation (CCO) and Auckland’s cultural, events and destination agency. Through our work, we enrich Auckland's cultural life and vibrancy and deliver inspirational experiences, activations and events. Together, we bring Auckland’s unique identity and spirit to life and strive to ensure the world knows about the things that make our city special.
Responsibilities
- Lead integrated marcomms campaigns for a dynamic portfolio—including city centre, events, experiences, visitor attraction and more.
- Promote Auckland’s calendar of events and boost the city centre’s profile.
- Attract visitors to enjoy all that’s on offer in the heart of the region.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes and optimise results.
- Champion research and insights to position Auckland and its brand for success.
- Manage budgets, campaigns and partnerships to deliver and report on best-in-class outcomes.
- Collaborate across and beyond the Auckland Council Group to provide a fully integrated marketing and communications offering.
About you
Collaborative, innovative marketing and communications professional with a strategic mindset and a passion for making a difference.Expert in managing marketing, communications and digital projects; adept at turning insights into impactful campaigns.Adaptable, results-focused and able to work with diverse teams to achieve outstanding outcomes.Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.Your qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or public relations and / or 7+ years’ experience in marketing or publicity / communications.Strategic, analytical and creative approach with proven ability to deliver integrated campaigns.Skills in project planning, financial management and building strong relationships.Proficiency with digital marketing tools, creative software and collaboration platforms like Asana.Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.What we offer
