• Join our Talent and Workforce Strategy team as Principal Adviser Talent and be part of the expanded Engagement, Recruitment, Talent and Leadership group.

This is a key thought leadership role, driving high-investment programmes and supporting our most senior leaders with strategic talent and workforce initiatives.Reporting to

Together, you'll ensure our organisation has safe, supported, and capable staff every day.A key part of this role is guiding the practice of our two Senior Adviser Talent colleagues, providing mentorship and strategic direction.

You'll also collaborate with teams across Leadership Development, Capability, People Services, and our diverse business groups to design, develop, and implement the systems and processes that underpin talent management at Ara Poutama Aotearoa.This is a role where you'll do big, interesting work with a team that invests in you and supports your well-being.

You're known for being approachable, clear, and collaborative—someone who builds strong networks and maintains connections across communities of practice.To succeed in this role, you'll enjoy working in a large, complex organisation and understand the context of frontline workforces.

Your background could include organisational development, workforce management, or government advisory and strategy.
