Our Talent Advisory team, part of the People & Capability directorate, is looking for a motivated Adviser to join us.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll manage your own recruitment portfolio and work closely with business leaders to support smart hiring decisions.
The people we hire directly influence the ability to deliver on Ministry for Primary Industries strategic goals.
You'll play a key role in ensuring we attract the talent needed to contribute to these goals.
As an Adviser, you will :
You'll also have opportunities to contribute to a range of projects, present to leadership teams, and facilitate team discussions around how we continue to improve our service
About You - Mou
This is a great opportunity for an early in career recruitment Coordinator or Adviser, with around 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
You will bring a genuine interest in recruitment, with experience in agency and / or internal environments across the full recruitment lifecycle.
You will be confident juggling multiple priorities, and know how to advise, educate, and influence stakeholders - all while keeping the candidate and hiring manager experience front of mind.
You will bring strong communication and relationship-building skills and be comfortable presenting to different audiences.
We are looking for someone organised, proactive, and great at managing a busy workload.
About the Team - Mo to matou Ropu
You'll report to the Principal Adviser Talent Advisory and work alongside a supportive team of Advisers and Senior Advisers who bring a range of recruitment skills and experience.
We're a close-knit team that values collaboration, learning, and having fun.
