Sports Coordinator – Long Bay College

Long Bay College is a co-educational secondary school located in a peaceful coastal setting near Long Bay Beach and the new Long Bay Village.

We are seeking an innovative, organised, and enthusiastic Sports Coordinator to join our passionate sports department.

This role supports the day-to-day running of sport at the College and works closely with the Director of Sport to achieve our strategic goals of increasing participation, developing performance pathways, and promoting sporting excellence.

This is a fast-paced and varied position that involves collaboration with students, staff, coaches, parents, and the wider community.

Sport administration and operations

Event coordination

Strategic planning

Marketing communication and promotion

Systems, data and digital management

Health, safety and compliance

Community and external engagement

Applicants must have passion for sport and energy to effectively coordinate structures and procedures for sport, coaching, selections and competition.

Experience in Netball and Volleyball administration would be advantageous.

Key Details

Hours : 37.5 per week, working during term time for 40 weeks of the year.

Start date : As soon as possible.

Remuneration : As per Grade 2 of the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement plus any qualification allowances if applicable.
