We're looking for a

Senior Engineer

to join our Hamilton office.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects, guide and mentor junior engineers, and work alongside a supportive and highly skilled team that values professionalism, collaboration, and making a difference for clients and communities.

What you'll be doing

Leading engineering projects from design through to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, to budget, and to the highest standards.

Managing client relationships and providing clear, practical advice.

Preparing engineering designs, reports, and contract documentation, and liaising with councils and contractors.

Overseeing construction monitoring, contract administration, and site observation.

Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and technicians, contributing to their professional growth.

Playing a key role in complex land development and infrastructure projects, working closely with planners, surveyors, and other professionals.

What we're looking for

A degree in Civil Engineering (Washington Accord or equivalent) or relevant qualification.

Significant experience in land development and / or civil infrastructure projects.

Strong technical design and project management skills.

Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or working towards it.

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to lead clients and colleagues confidently.

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to mentor others and contribute to a culture of excellence.
