Job Description

We are seeking a Principal Engineer – Facades to join our Auckland team. This is a key position within our NZ Facades and wider Structural team , with the opportunity to play a critical role in shaping our projects and contributing to the growth of the business.

You will bring CPEng status and be registered with Auckland City Council , enabling you to sign off high‑risk producer statements. Beyond technical capability, we are looking for someone ambitious and growth‑oriented – someone who is excited to help develop our NZ presence while leveraging the global expertise and resources of Inhabit and the wider Egis Group .

This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑profile, challenging projects, lead technically, and mentor others while making a tangible impact on New Zealand’s built environment.

Qualifications

• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
• Registered on the Auckland City Council Producer Statement Author Register (able to sign off high‑risk producer statements).
• Strong technical background in facade engineering and structural design.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality technical outputs and provide project leadership.
• Ambition to grow professionally and contribute to the expansion of Inhabit in NZ.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to leverage global expertise while leading locally.
