Connex Information Technologies Limited is the New Zealand arm of a regional group with a strong international presence in value-added distribution.
We are seeking a Channel and Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in developing strategic channel partnerships, expanding our customer network, and strengthening Connex's market presence.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of partnership growth initiatives, drive end-customer and end-user engagement, and align technology solutions to partner and customer challenges, playing a key role in Connex's brand visibility and market engagement in the New Zealand market.
Responsibilities
Build and manage reseller, integrator and technology partner relationships
Identify new partners and lead negotiations
Align technology solutions (networking, cybersecurity, storage, cloud) with customer needs
Deliver proposals, presentations and joint initiatives
Represent Connex at events and provide insights to senior management
Qualifications and Skills
Degree / Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field
2+ years' experience in business development / partnerships (IT sector preferred)
Strong negotiation, relationship management and communication skills

Hours : Full-time or part-time (flexibility for meetings and events)
Location : Wellington CBD or Auckland.
On-site with field visits (partner / customer meetings, events)
Remuneration : Attractive Salary plus potential performance-based incentives for exceeding sales targets (negotiated with the successful candidate)
