We're looking for motivated individuals to join our Clinical Coding team in Wellington as Trainee Clinical Coders.This is your chance to launch a rewarding career in a field that's vital to the healthcare system—where your work directly supports patient care, hospital funding, and national health reporting.
As part of a tertiary-level facility, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of general specialties, as well as advanced services including oncology, cardiothoracic, vascular, and neurosurgery.
It's a rare opportunity to develop your skills in a diverse and specialised healthcare environment.You will be primarily based at Wellington Regional Hospital but may be required to work / train at Hutt Valley Hospital on occasion.
The salary for this position is $76,694.About the TeamYou will be working in a team of clinical coders processing approximately 75,000 inpatient events per year.
