It - s a rare opportunity to develop your skills in a diverse and specialised healthcare environment.You will be primarily based at Wellington Regional Hospital but may be required to work / train at Hutt Valley Hospital on occasion. The salary for this position is $76,694.
• About the Team
• You will be working in a team of clinical coders processing approximately 75,000 inpatient events per year. Our team are committed to meeting reporting deadlines whilst providing quality coding, therefore it is very important to us that applicants have a proven history of commitment to teamwork, using their initiative and can produce work with a high level of accuracy.What we value :

• About you
• Preference will be given candidates who have completed an introductory qualification in clinical coding
• Excellent English skills (written and verbal)
• Qualification or experience in anatomy, physiology and / or medical terminology
• Accuracy, adaptability and reliability
