Alden is a privately owned Specialist Residential Aged Care Services Provider.

We offer rest home, hospital, and dementia care to the elderly in 19 residential facilities throughout New Zealand.We have a permanent full time opportunity for an experienced Diversional Therapist at our Manurewa facility in Auckland.This is a significant position!

As our Diversional Therapist, you will engage with our Residents and be responsible for sourcing and implementing successful strategies for their personalized experiences to support their care.

By joining our team, you will get to interact with a large diverse team consisting of Nursing staff, families, allied health professionals.You will be a passionate individual with particular patience and empathy for the elderly.

You will be organized, creative, and inspired to make a real difference through both small and large actions.Ideally, you will have :

• Experience caring for the elderly
• A first aid certificate
• A Diversional Therapist Qualification
• A full and clean driver's licence - so that you are able to take our Residents on outings using our company van
• Good community links
