Are you a product leader ready to drive the success of a strategic, high-volume hardware portfolio?
Trimble is seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Product Manager to manage our navigation controller hardware portfolio within the Agriculture Industry Solutions (AgIS) team.
This role requires strategic leadership, financial acumen, and team mentorship to deliver critical business outcomes for our joint venture, PTx Trimble.
You will drive GNSS hardware strategy and growth, influence product roadmaps, craft compelling value propositions, and collaborate with PTx Trimble joint venture counterparts.
You should be a transformative change-agent who values teamwork, creative thinking, and the ability to communicate and implement change.
Your work will shape the future of precision agriculture, ensuring our hardware sets the standard for reliability and performance.
We are seeking a seasoned product manager excited by building high-value products and maximizing business outcomes in a complex, competitive environment.
What You Will Do
Drive the Hardware Roadmap : Manage the execution of a forward-looking multi-year product roadmap for the GNSS hardware portfolio, ensuring it aligns with AgIS goals and the PTx Trimble joint venture.
Manage Hardware P&L : Own revenue and profitability for flagship products, including developing financial forecasts and meeting aggressive revenue targets.
Lead Product Lifecycle Transitions : Own the product lifecycle of new and existing products.
Communicate Product Vision : Translate complex business problems into clear, actionable product strategies.
Measure Outcomes, Not Outputs : Define and track key business metrics (forecasting accuracy, market adoption, revenue growth, customer satisfaction) to ensure the roadmap drives meaningful outcomes.
Build Lasting Partnerships : Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with engineering, operations, and the PTx Trimble joint venture to ensure smooth delivery, clear communication, and stability.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience in a product development role, preferably in agriculture, construction, civil engineering, or enterprise software.
Proven track record in product management, ideally with experience owning and scaling a complex hardware portfolio (GNSS, precision agriculture, or machine control products).
Demonstrated ability to manage a product line's P&L, set pricing, own forecasting, and drive down costs.
Mentorship experience and a track record of coaching and influencing team members to deliver results.
Experience navigating complex environments like joint ventures, aligning priorities across organizational boundaries.
Ability to translate strategic vision into a clear backlog focused on revenue, market share, and adoption over merely shipping features.
Proven ability to make effective, timely product decisions independently.
