The role of the Senior Resource Management Officer – Incident Response sits within our Northern Team based at Tuam Street and provides a mix of both office and field-based work.
Your focus will be working proactively with communities, resource users, runanga, and stakeholders to support real change in the on-the-ground management of natural resources.

Upholding compliance with regulations & regional rules
Identify process improvement opportunities and resolve complex issues
Reporting and compliance support
Develop and deliver technical and customer service training to staff
Report writing and producing feedback
Establish and maintain regional and strategic networks
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of five years of experience in a relevant resource management-related field.
You will understand the principles of the Resource Management Act and have experience with consent holders.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to encourage people
Comfortable supporting and coaching other staff with professional development
Work independently and proactively
Motivated to work together with our community
Support continuous improvement in environmental performance
Must hold a full Class 1 driver's licence
Previous experience within a regulatory environment.
