As the Asset Information Manager with us, you will be responsible for supporting data and quality delivery in alignment with standards across our New Zealand roading operations. Working closely with our regional businesses, you will develop, maintain and support best practices for roading asset data management as well as training and upskilling to ensure our asset system is accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities
- Stay informed of updates and changes to AWM and the AMDS and incorporate relevant changes into internal processes and guidance.
- Communicate proactively, clearly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring technical concepts and processes are understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Review data deliverables and collaborate with internal teams to ensure asset data processes are understood and consistently applied.
- Monitor system usage and identify opportunities for process improvement or user support.
- Engage with external capital project teams and external organisations to capture and load asset inventory data.
- Support contract teams to identify and undertake data improvement initiatives.

A minimum of 2 years' experience with AWM particularly road maintenance.Demonstrated experience with relevant data standards.Experience in asset data management or infrastructure information systems.Ability to develop and document process improvements.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to train, support, and proactively engage users across varying levels of technical understanding.Experience supporting users in a technical or operational environment.Application
