About the opportunity

Due to continued growth and success, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our New Zealand Sales Team as a Sales Representative (internal job title : Product Specialist), focusing on our neonatal product portfolio.

This is a dynamic role that involves working in a complex clinical setting, focussing on market development and education to drive adoption of Fisher & Paykel humidified technologies within the maternity, special care and neonatal intensive care units within NZ Hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct visits to hospitals and build relationships with existing and prospective customers to introduce and grow the use of current Fisher & Paykel Healthcare products and therapy approaches and their patient benefits, ultimately changing clinical practice.
• Work with the Sales Manager to discuss current market state, future potential and devise a plan to execute on opportunities.
• Provide education to clinical staff to improve care and outcomes for patients.
• Liaise with hospital regulatory, compliance and technical departments, purchasing, clinicians and other key decision makers to ensure all compliance and purchasing requirements are met.
• Provide strategic installation support, training and follow up to ensure optimal use of our products to improve patient outcomes and recognise further opportunity.
• Work closely with our Product Teams consisting of engineers, marketers and clinical researchers to facilitate clinician input into product development and R&D.

This role is based at our Global Head Office in East Tamaki but covers a territory that requires significant national travel.
