After launching our Auckland office in February 2023, we are continuing to grow, and this role is an opportunity to start your journey with Slalom and help us shape the future.We are seeking a Principal Consultant to join our Transformation capability in New Zealand.What You'll DoSlalom's Transformation team acts as connective tissue to bring together all the right capabilities and expertise to serve our (public and private sector) customers in Australia and New Zealand.
The team advises on strategy and business transformation, supports hands-on delivery and enables capability uplift.
Our Transformation consultants are multi-hatted with skills and experience in operational efficiency and improvement, modern product, organisational effectiveness, customer experience, and transformation portfolio leadership.
Key responsibilities include fostering strong customer relationships, shaping solutions to meet needs, delivering promised customer value and more, managing healthy business operations and collaborating to grow Slalom.As a Principal, you will excel in delivery, apply advanced skills to lead engagements and solutions; and build proficiency in pursuit and engagement roles.
You will take ownership and responsibility for areas of focus and solutions specifically for the New Zealand market and help grow our presence, brand, breadth and community.What You'll BringPrior management consulting experience in an engagement-based, client-facing environmentBachelor's Degree from an accredited institution7+ years of functional experience in project management, operational improvement and / or organisational effectiveness through consulting or operational rolesTechnical expertise (and preferably accreditation) in an area of focus such as Lean Six Sigma, SAFe, Change Management, Product Management, Facilitation or Leadership CoachingExperience in developing winning proposals and solutions in response to customer needsExperience in leading engagement teams and managing people through planning, performance and talent development cyclesAbility to develop and apply structured approaches and methodologies to your project workAbility to develop specific plans to mitigate or address client concerns and engagement risksAbility to develop a set of actionable and targeted solution plans or strategies as necessaryOur ValuesOur culture and values reflect each individual Slalomer.
