As a leader in data, analytics and AI for 30 years, Datamine is seeking someone to join our Client Implementation team to focus on consultative engagement with qualified prospects as well as consultative account managementwithin our existing clients.

Within this exciting role you will keep across client delivery, while engaging with customers to identify other business challenges they are facing, and identifying opportunities for Datamine to add more value.At Datamine, we aim to give people power through the ethical use of technology, to make decisions that transform their work, lives, and communities for the better.

We thrive on making a difference – and we're looking for someone who brings the same passion.About the roleWe are looking for a proactive candidate with a consultative approach toclient account management.

You will someone who can dig deeper to understand complexity and business problems which might representopportunity with potential and current clients.This role straddles the delivery and implementation team as well as our sales function to create meaningful professional relationships with our clients.

This involves collaborating with both internal teams and clients to understand where opportunities might exist.

The ideal candidate takes a consultative approach to get to the root of clients' business problems to show them the value that will be offered by solving them – focusing on tangible business outcomes.A week in the life of an Account Manager might involve : Proactively engaging with clients to strengthen relationships, check in on progress, and uncover new opportunities to support themUsing your commercial acumen and market insight to spot emerging challenges or shifts in the business landscape, then working with customers to explore how we might supportSeek out key decision makers at executive levelto understand their problems and the cost to their businessHelping align the work we are doing with the companies strategic goalsLeading consulting and discovery conversations with clients to deeply understand a business problem they are facingWriting a proposal for a solution to solve a clients' problemStaying close to existing delivery to understand progress without too much delivery managementYou would fit right in at Datamine if you have : 5 years of commercial experience, preferably in a consulting environmentA track record in B2B relationship / account management, customer success, delivery rolesA tertiary degree (likely in Business / Commerce or similar)Solid skills in Microsoft SuiteA desire to be part of a collaborative team that puts overall business success ahead of individual achievementsBusiness insights / commercial acumen that you can apply across industriesA proactive approach, you take ownership over your responsibilities.High written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to juggle priorities, making it look easyKnow how to talk to people, both of the technical and non-technical variety (be personable)The ability to bring clarity and problem solveA desire to continue learning and share your learnings with othersA collaborative approach to the team and working with clientsWhat Datamine OffersA supportive work environment where your contributions are valuedAn opportunity to work with a diverse and talented teamThe opportunity to learn from and work alongside experts in their fieldA values-driven organisationStretch progress, the potential to grow your skills and the role at your paceAn environment that will allow you to be you and to thriveA place that celebrates ours wins and is on the path of continual learningA business that believes in accountability not hierarchyOh, and did we mention we have a chef and a café, so lunch and coffee are on us, as is parking.
