OverviewMedical Laboratory Technician – MicrobiologyPermanent, Full-timeAucklandAbout the roleWe are currently seeking applications for a permanent, full-time qualified Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team in the Mt. Wellington Microbiology Department.A Medical Laboratory Technician with microbiology experience is preferred; however, consideration will also be given to training someone with the right skills, preferably with a science background.

This position is 80 hours per fortnight.About youTo succeed in this role, you will need : The ability to work in a methodical manner adhering to strict quality procedure guidelines.A team focus with initiative, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and possess the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.Excellent attention to detail, with good record keeping skills.The ability to work independently, while in a supported role.Registration with the Medical Science Council and an Annual Practicing Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Technician is desirable.Eligibility to work in New Zealand.What's in it for youYou will be joining a friendly, high-performing, and forward-thinking team environment.
