Supply Chain Category Manager

We're seeking an experienced Supply Chain Category Manager to successfully manage the procurement of materials and be the subject matter expert for specific categories in the organisation.

You will partner with, advise, facilitate and collaborate with key stakeholders across the business and externally.Your responsibilities will include : ResponsibilitiesReviewing category spend and better allocate resources and manage projects effectivelyMonitor and manage efficient replenishment planning for specific categoriesProvide weekly analysis for key stakeholdersAdjust plans for demand changes, production or shipping changes and ensure suppliers meet these changesEnsure forecasts and plans are completed per business needsManage purchasing decisions to minimise profit impact for inwards freight and cashflow planningManage relationships with key suppliers, involving sharing intelligence, coordinating negotiations and ensuring suppliers meet both procurement and supply planning requirementsAnalyse market and customer data, spend data, and supplier performance to identify opportunities and insights for cost and quality managementLeading and supporting procurement initiatives and projects across the businessQualificationsA tertiary qualification in a related discipline2+ years' experience in a supply chain or procurement roleExperience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to carry out root cause analysis and propose improvement initiativesAbility to deal with ambiguity and make sound business decisions driven by dataAccuracy and a strong focus on attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office skills particularly working with Excel spreadsheetsAbility to relate constructively with all levels of the businessA passion for supply chain and a commitment to the success of the company and your contribution within thatBenefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramStaff Recognition AwardsEmployee Referral ProgramEmployee Suggestion ProgramLong Service PaymentsHealth Insurance DiscountFree Annual Health ChecksStaff discountsFree parking on siteApply For Job
