Position overview
You will work cross-functionally with logistics, operations, commercial, and 3PL partners to identify logistics inefficiencies to improve routing, maximise container utilisation, and optimise fulfilment costs down to the SKU level.
Your ability to deep dive into numbers, spot trends, and translate findings into executable strategies will be pivotal in driving ZURU's global logistics competitiveness.

As Supply Chain Performance Lead, you will be the analytical powerhouse driving cost and performance improvements across our post-production logistics network.
This role will focus on transforming data into actionable insights across container packing, global freight, 3PL warehousing, and customer fulfilment operations globally for all ZURU Edge verticals (Beauty, Baby, Pet, Household & Confectionary).

Roles & Responsibilities
Post-Production Supply Chain Analysis & Optimisation
Conduct comprehensive analysis of end-to-end post-production logistics costs, covering every step from factory pack-out through to final delivery at retailer distribution centres
Evaluate container packing efficiency, identifying opportunities to maximise container fill rates and reduce under-utilised space
Evaluate pallet build efficiency, identifying opportunities to optimise pallet build, and positively influencing container packing, as well as warehousing storage footprint
Analyse global freight costs across shipping trade lanes, assessing factors such as routing efficiency, carrier performance, and cost per unit shipped
Review warehousing costs, including inbound handling, storage, and fulfilment activities (pick & pack), ensuring operational processes are cost-effective and scalable
Investigate transport spend including drayage, line-haul, and last-mile delivery to customer DCs, to pinpoint inefficiencies and drive cost-per-order reductions
Translate cost data into actionable insights, supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the logistics network
Conduct SKU-level cost-to-serve analysis to identify cost drivers and optimisation levers
KPI & Dashboard Improvements
Collaborate with ZURU's in-house data team to continually improve dashboards used to track key logistics metrics such as OTIF, cost per order / unit, warehouse productivity, and container utilisation
Establish a KPI framework for continuous monitoring of cost and service performance globally
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams (Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance) and external logistics partners to drive alignment on optimisation initiatives
Support commercial teams with logistics cost insights to inform pricing and margin strategies
Data-Driven Decision Support
Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for the logistics leadership team
Build business cases quantifying the impact of proposed supply chain improvements
Skills & Experience
3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Analysis
Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Array formulas)
Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI / Tableau) and data visualisation
Understanding of logistics operations workflow – container optimisation, freight cost structures, 3PL operations, and fulfilment processes
Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for identifying cost inefficiencies and operational bottlenecks
Proficiency in interpreting rate cards and conducting detailed cost-to-serve analysis
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence cross-functional teams and external partners
Exposure to high-volume, fast-paced supply chain environments is a strong advantage
Studied business, supply chain, logistics, business analytics, or related field and have genuine excitement and interest in operations excellence
