We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AOD Clinician to join our Corrections AOD Programme based at Auckland Prison (Paremoremo)— a men's prison.In this role, you will provide face-to-face clinical interventions and group programmes that support tangata whaiora through their recovery and reintegration journeys.
Your mahi will reflect both evidence-based approaches and Te Ao Maori me ona Tikanga to support identity, connection, and oranga.This is a permanent part-time role, Monday to Friday, with flexibility around total hours to suit your lifestyle and commitments.You're a qualified AOD professional who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of tangata whaiora.

At least 3 years' experience in AOD treatment, ideally with co-existing mental health needs.Strong understanding of Te Ao Maori me ona Tikanga and commitment to culturally responsive practice.Knowledge of evidence-based addiction modalities, including group facilitation.Excellent communication, documentation, and risk management skills.A full New Zealand driver's licence.What's in it for you / BenefitsSalary range : $86,202.35 - $97,189.81 (depending on experience)Generous leave entitlements : including wellbeing leave, cultural leave, and study leave (where applicable).
