About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Clinical Coders to join our supportive and fun team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a hospital with a wide range of cases and a complex coding environment.These roles are based at Middlemore Hospital, and we are looking for individuals interested in the following positions :
Permanent full-time, Monday to Friday
Casual role, Monday to Friday, on-call basis with availability to cover at short noticeWe can offer you a supportive and fun team environment where professional development is encouraged. The Clinical Coding service currently operates under the National Clinical Coding Framework Progression Criteria.
About You
Youre a team player with a positive outlook and strong work ethic. You will also have;
HIMAA Certificate or ACE qualification
Current ICD-10-AM 12th Edition coding experience
Knowledge of Casemix and diagnosis-related groupers
Excellent communication and collaboration skillsCandidates who have passed the ACE Coding Course are also welcomed to apply!
