Full time

$70,000 – $75,000 per year plus performance-based incentives

As the Account Manager, you will oversee the development and success of the sales portfolio across Canterbury, driving growth and building strong relationships with clients. Your role involves acquiring new business opportunities, managing and nurturing relationships with existing clients, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

What you will do

  • Develop and manage a sales portfolio covering Christchurch and the surrounding areas.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with existing clients while seeking opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the territory.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through proactive account management and strategic planning.

  • Skills & experience

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or a related role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A self-starter with a drive for results and the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of the food wholesale or similar industry is a plus but not essential.
  • A passion for food is a bonus and will help you connect with our clients and products.
