About this role

Work in a role where you will have a real impact on Auckland’s future! The role of the Senior Greenhouse Gas and Climate Insight Specialist is to manage and develop actionable insight and reporting relating to GHG emissions and climate‑related risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of climate and sustainability related data, reporting and assurance.
• Development and implementation of tools and insight reporting to assess whole‑of‑life emissions and supporting emission reductions.
• Implementing innovative sustainability, resource and energy efficiency initiatives across the organisation and in partnership with operators, designers, contractors and supply chain partners.
• Developing and implementing climate change risk assessment and adaption planning.
• Supporting Watercare leadership to meet climate commitments and commitment to Te Tāruke‑ā‑Tāwhiri : Auckland’s Climate Plan.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to develop insight to influence and lead others and collaborate across the wider business and stakeholders. You will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
