He angitūtanga : The opportunity
As a Climate Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing Tātaki Auckland Unlimited’s sustainability goals and aligning our mahi with Te Tāruke-ā-Tāwhiri : Auckland’s Climate Plan. You’ll lead the way in emissions reporting and data analysis—particularly expanding Scope 3 emissions measurement—and use insights to strengthen decision-making across the organisation. This includes reviewing climate scenarios, assessing their impact on operations, and measuring emissions for major events—an exciting opportunity to combine analytical expertise with tangible climate outcomes.

Exceptional analytical and research capability is core to this role—turning complex climate and emissions data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making. Skilled in interpreting data and building stories that inform senior advisors and leaders, the role demands confidence in simplifying technical information for a range of audiences, from frontline staff to board level.
