Support Worker - Child-Wellbeing

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and culturally grounded Support Workers to join our team in providing high-quality care and support for four male clients aged 8–17 years living with special needs.

These young individuals have Autism, Global Developmental Delay, and are non-verbal, requiring patient, responsive, and consistent support in their day-to-day lives.

Shifts : 12 hours : 7am – 7pm or 7pm – 7am.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with personal care, exercise program and daily routines.

Engage the client in meaningful and stimulating activities.

Provide emotional support in a calm and patient centred manner.

Promote independence while ensuring safety and well-being.

Work collaboratively with the wider support team.

Key Requirements

The ability to work in a male-only environment (both clients and team members)

Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferably Autism).

Physically fit and capable of supporting a strong person.

Compassionate, patient, and able to build a trusting relationship.

Reliable, flexible, and committed to making a difference.

A full NZ driver's licence and the legal right to work in New Zealand.
