Purpose of the Role
Ingot is a small, ambitious digital development agency with a growing reputation and a sharp portfolio of client work.
With an influx of new projects and increasing demand from existing clients, we're looking to bring on a capable, commercially minded Account Manager.
This role is designed for someone who can confidently straddle the worlds of client care and digital delivery, someone who understands the pace, challenges, and nuances of development work, even if they're not a developer themselves.
You'll be the conduit between clients and the development team, helping translate business goals into clear technical briefs, setting expectations, and ensuring nothing gets lost in translation.
Key Responsibilities
Own and grow relationships with a small portfolio of Ingot clients, ensuring their needs are well understood and proactively met
Translate client goals and requests into clear, actionable plans for the development team
Work closely with developers to track progress, remove roadblocks, and communicate updates clearly and honestly
Attend (and often lead) client check-ins, scoping sessions, and post-launch reviews
Spot opportunities to expand client relationships, upsell services, or improve process
Manage timelines, expectations, and small project scopes, keeping both client and team aligned
Ensure documentation, reporting, invoicing and briefing materials are accurate and up to date

Guaranteed Hours
: 10 hours / week minimum
Scalable
: Flexibility to increase hours based on project volume
Autonomy
: You'll be trusted to manage your work and relationships with a good deal of independence, support is there, but micromanagement isn't
Ideal Experience
3–6 years in a digital agency, SaaS, or development-adjacent environment
Comfortable managing multiple clients and competing priorities
Excellent communicator – able to speak both 'client' and 'developer' fluently
Confident with scoping, basic project timelines, and digital processes
Naturally curious and commercially astute, someone who understands the "why" behind the build
Experience with tools like Notion, Trello, Jira, or Figma is helpful, but not essential
