The role
This role is a key support to Legal Counsel and will see you deliver excellent contract risk management across Jasmax.
Responsibilities
Prepare, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and related documentsSecure formal sign-off of contract termsSupport internal stakeholders with legal queries and provide guidance on contract terms and risk mitigationManage sub-consultant contractual relationships and compliance obligationsManage contract quality assurance processes and maintain the contracts database and templatesInvolvement in continual improvement projectsAttributes, skills and experience we are looking for
Understanding of commercial contracting principles and professional service agreementsExperience in contract management or legal support, ideally within a construction or architectural / engineering design firmMethodical, organised, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritiseHigh-level attention to detail and critical thinkingExcellent communication skills, confident and articulate in business writingAbility to develop effective and professional documents, tools, and presentation materialsA responsive and adaptive work styleA legal qualification, such as a LLB or Legal Executive Diploma, is welcomedWhy Jasmax?
