The primary research will focus on mechanobiology of durotaxis and its role in fibrotic diseases.
Insights could identify novel drug targets for fibrotic diseases, which contribute to 45% of mortality in the developed world.
Responsibilities :
Qualifications
A PhD in cell biology, biophysics, bioengineering, or similar fields.
Demonstrated expertise in cellular mechanobiology, molecular biology and genetics, microscopy, and image analysis.
Prior knowledge of generating and working with cell-culture substrates with well-defined biophysical properties in 2D and 3D would be advantageous.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
