Job Description

The selected individual is required to :

Lead sensor design and AI integration, as well as full system integration and operational evaluation.

Assist PI with the following duties :

Analyzing experimental data and validating system performance against benchmarks.

Preparing manuscripts, grant proposals, and technical reports.

Supervising junior researchers and graduate students in related projects.

Coordinating with collaborators, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Managing laboratory operations, including procurement and maintenance of research equipment.

Supporting technology translation efforts, including prototype refinement, IP filing, and potential commercialization activities.

Qualifications

Possess a PHD degree in a relevant field.

At least 3 or more years of external postdoctoral research experience.

Expertise in sensor design and development.

Experience with AI model development, training and deployment.

Experience in system integration and operational evaluation.

Prior experience with sensor and AI development is preferred.

Strong written and spoken communications.

Open to fixed-term contract.
