About the Role
This
is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to be part of a
team that places a focus on patient centred care, for patients with long term
conditions.
This
is a senior nursing role - Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and you will be
working with the Advanced Lung Disease CNS team.
You will also work in
collaboration with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).

About the Service
The
Cardio-Respiratory Integrated Specialist Services (CRISS) team is a dynamic, innovative, and supportive team.
We provide expert
care (both inpatient and outpatient) to people with a wide range of respiratory
and cardiac conditions.
This includes, Managing Advanced Lung Disease, MND,
Lung Cancer, TB, cystic fibrosis, sleep disorders, heart failure / PAH and
Cardiac Rehabilitation.
The team is supported by two Maori Health workers
within the team.
About you
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory
Nurse who is dynamic and motivated with demonstrated leadership qualities, a
proven ability to communicate effectively and form positive working
relationships at all levels.
The applicant needs to be able to work
autonomously within their practice.
experience - requires a sound knowledge of Respiratory conditions
to utilise advanced assessment skills within their practice
to co-ordinate the care and management of patients with severe lung
disease
or actively working towards a post graduate academic qualification
relevant to the role
time management and advanced problem-solving skills
ability to offer leadership and education
interpersonal skills
to engage a wide range of people and to build strong effective
relationships within the role
computer skills
a current driver's licence
a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
