If you are a person with a disability and need assistance applying for a job, please submit a request.This role is a full-time permanent position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.Reporting to the Technical Coordinator, your role is to provide exceptional support as part of a team of professional service technicians, responsible for carrying out operational, maintenance, and repair works on commercial Chillers and HVAC equipment across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.Key Responsibilities Include : Carry out planned and unplanned service, maintenance, and commissioning of all types of Trane chiller and heat pump equipment, air handling units, and unitary air conditioning systems.Accurate and timely completion of required paperwork related to work performed.Participate in the after-hours standby duty roster.Foster and maintain professional working relationships amongst technicians and apprentices, demonstrating the ability to work within pairs and smaller teams.Comply with all safety, company, and statutory policies and procedures at all times.Actively participate in all company-facilitated training and service meetings as required.Facilitate on-site training for other technicians and apprentices, and supervise work performed by an allocated apprentice.Quote and bring in new client leads for small service repairs.To be successful in this role, ideally you will have : At least 5 years' experience / exposure to commercial HVAC Chillers.Valid full Driver's License (due to company insurance requirements).
