Travel Behaviour Change Team Member

OverviewSustainable Behaviour Change, Housing Quality and Community ResilienceWe are looking for outgoing people to join our travel behaviour change team.

We work on behalf of Auckland Transport to provide households with advice and encourage them to try new ways of travelling around.

Work will take place in the Albert-Eden area and also on the North Shore.Responsibilitiesdoor-knocking and face-to-face contact with householdersaccurate data entry on paper and via tabletsfollow up phone callsQualifications and attributesFull training for each task is providedno prior experience is needed, but a strong interest in environmental issues and / or knowledge of the transport network is helpfulpresentablefriendly and outgoingphysically fit (able to door-knock for a three-hour session)able to communicate clearlyable to understand and convey information related to transport optionsable to accurately record datamobile – with access to a car or knowledge of the public transport networkWorking hours and payDoor knocking will be undertaken from mid-October for 5-6 weeks.

This will take place Monday to Thursday evenings : 4 : 30pm to 7 : 30pm as well as Saturdays and Sundays.
